I am originally from Puerto Rico, my husband is from Chile. We bought a lot in Montalcino. We are working on floor plans with an architect and we will see where that takes us next year. It all depends on the sale of our house! Hopefully sooner than later! Have been to ADM as a tourist but will move on the Pensionado Visa.

Hi Elaine! Wow, I didn't expect to hear from anyone. We are really in the beginning stage of thinking about retirement. My husband, Mike, and I have "retired" from teaching. We both continue to work, he as a substitue, soon to be half day, and me as a tutorer, and as a home stager. We're looking at maybe 1-2 years down the road. I've been doing some surfing, you know, just looking, and Panama looked really interesting. I don't know any more than that. Tell me what you know and how you came to this decision. When will you be moving? BTW- how was your husband's hip surgery? My husband had that done as well a few years back. He had his done at Southern Regional, and bypass at Piedmont. Small world, huh?

Not to worry. i will be in touch so you can come over and we can meet and also meet the other couple that will be moving there as well. I am on standby mode since my husband is getting his other hip replaced on September 15th and we are trying to get preliminary house plans set before then. But probably after the surgery we will get everyone together - we normally try and work around everyone's schedule. So yeah you will have to join us for dinner if you are able and probably many more in ADM...so who is tendra and Kai-man? pets? We have some as well. We have Mufasa who is our monster golden retriever - he's huge, then we have 2 King Charles Cavalier Spanniels Sadie and O'Malley.
