The Trinidad Spa & Lodge is a bit out of the way, near Chiriqui Arriba, north of Penonome, but it is well worth the trip. This is an ecolodge with a nice spa and restaurant. While the lodge itself is decent but nothing to write home about, its setting is magnificent and well worth the trip. The views are absolutely stunning. You can also explore several hiking paths including one to the 30 meter tall "El Tavida" falls.
